A Good Day

It is a good day when you earn $100 on your day off, your boss buys lunch, your online literary journal has almost 400 hits (even though the 1st issue won't be published for another 6 weeks), and the Red Sox win 10-3 while the Yankees lose 14-4. Yes, I think this might be my definition of a good day.

    HHHMMMM, so what's the story on lunch with the boss and making $100? Is that because you were on the clock at lunch???

    While I love everything else about my move to New Hampshire's gorgeous countryside, it is indeed part of Red Sox Nation - while I grew up to be a staunch Yankees fan. I have to keep all my Yankee apparel in the closet or suffer insults.
